    U.S. EPA announced the release of the RFP 11/23/09. Please visit the U.S. EPA website for the details.

    The Office of the Great Lakes still respectfully requests your GLRI pre–proposals 11/25/09.

The US Congress is expected to provide $475M in funding to protect and clean up the Great Lakes through restoration efforts, invasive species control, toxic and non-point source pollution mitigation and critical habitats protection. These monies will be appropriated as part of EPA´s budget. Roughly half of the funds will be passed through to other federal agencies. Requests for Proposals (RFPs) are expected to be issued soon.

Projects must address one or more of the five focus areas identified in the Initiative:
