CWD Deer Registration, Sampling and Donation Sites
Registration Station Database - This searchable database allows you to find the registration station closest to you as well as the CWD sampling stations. The venison donation program in the CWD zone is now operated by Target Hunger, a coalition of non-profit organizations. Although donations are welcome, hunters will NOT have to donate $20 to have their deer processed for the food pantries this year. For details on how you can help through financial contributions contact Southwest Wisconsin CAP at 608 935-2326 or Community Action Coalition of Dane County at 608 246-4730. Why the DNR may not want your deer for CWD testing These maps shows the locations of registration stations and donation sites where free hunter service testing will be provided by the DNR for deer harvested during the 2009 CWD deer seasons. There are some additional stations in the northern part of the zone that are only offering testing during the weekend of the nine day so please see the opening weekend map for these stations.
