Wisconsin’s Wildlife Stamps

Funds Now Available for Fiscal Years 2010-2011

Wisconsin’s Wildlife Stamp programs have been providing for future opportunities for wildlife management and hunting directed toward key species. Turkey, pheasant and waterfowl hunters are required to purchase an associated stamp to legally harvest these species in Wisconsin. Sales of these stamps bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars annually for habitat management and restoration projects, education, research, equipment, and for managing the species programs in our state.

Every other year, at the start of each fiscal biennium, there is a chance for DNR staff and outside partner groups to apply for stamp funds for habitat management and other work directly benefitting turkey, pheasant, or waterfowl. Below you will find all the needed information on how to apply, who’s eligible to apply, what types of projects are eligible, and application forms.
