Blue Mound State Park
Concessions and Services

The Friends of Blue Mound State Park have provided vending machines in the concession stand at the pool and a soda machine at the shower building in the campground.

Firewood can be purchased at the Entrance Station between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and at the campground entrance during the rest of the year. Campers may also gather any dead wood laying on the ground. Cutting of any standing tree is prohibited.

To prevent the spread of harmful insects, state parks and forests prohibit firewood from anywhere more than 50 miles, from quarantined areas [PDF, 155KB], or from outside the state.

Recycling and garbage containers are at the campground entrance.

The dump station is at the campground entrance, behind the recycling and garbage dumpster.

Laundry facilities are a short distance away in Blue Mounds. Ask the park staff for directions.

Supplies are available from local merchants in Blue Mounds, Barneveld and Mount Horeb.
