Wildcat Mountain State Park Conditions

Conditions as of Thursday, November 5, 2009:

Trails

All trails are in good condition. The horse trails will close for the season on November 15.

River

Water levels are still good on the Kickapoo River for canoeing.

Nature

Deer are in the rut and can be seen moving during daylight and night hours. Barred owls can be heard in the evening.

Campgrounds

The horse trails and horse campground will close for the season on November 15. The group camp will also close on November 15.

The family campground is open year-round. The shower building is closed for the season. Drinking water is available at the park office.

Make reservations for family, horse, or group campsites for dates in May through October by calling (888) 947-2757, TTY (800) 274-7275, or using the Web.
