The ice is gone from the river and the water is flowing good. There is still plenty of snow in the woods. With rain and warm weather predicted for early next week, the river should be at its highest in about a week.

The snowshoe trail is just hanging on with marginal conditions. The trail is down to mostly hard packed snow and ice. By next week the season should be over, so this weekend may be your last chance to snowshoe.
