2009-2010 Wolf and Cougar Ecology & Track Training Courses

Wolf Ecology Workshops
Cougar Ecology Workshops

Volunteer trackers are asked to complete a wolf ecology course first, then a track training course before signing up for the Wisconsin Volunteer Carnivore Tracking program. We strongly encourage trackers to take the thorough James Halfpenney track training course at some point. Timber Wolf Alliance (exit DNR) (TWA, 877-543-2085), Timber Wolf Information Network (exit DNR) (TWIN), Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center (exit DNR) (715-685-9983), Treehaven (exit DNR) (715-453-4106), Sandhill Outdoor Skills Center (715-884-6333), and Beaver Creek Reserve (exit DNR) (715-877-2212) offer courses and/or have information on courses available. Please contact them for information or to register for their courses.
