Partners and Links
WDNR works with local, state and federal agencies, businesses, environmental groups, sports interests, nonprofits and the public to manage the state's valuable resources. Around the state "basin" or "Geographic Management Unit" partnerships are being formed to provide input and reflect back to the Department on priority issues and areas of interest. UW-Extension has been supportive with these partnership teams through their Basin Initiative. Additional governmental partners include other agencies that administer natural resource programs.
