Science professionals within in this program are also actively engaged in technology transfer activities through the publication and presentation of research results both within Wisconsin and internationally. In addition, the program provides support to graduate students through the Wisconsin Cooperative Fisheries Unit at UW-Stevens Point and the University of Michigan. This resarch program currently maintains unique research stations at Escanaba Lake and Emmons Creek dedicated to fisheries research in lakes, streams and rivers.
