Electric Transmission LinesArrowhead-Weston Transmission LineAfter a formal contested case hearing in May and June of 2005, the Administrative Law Judge approved the Department´s wetland and waterway crossing permit [PDF file] on July 25, 2005 for the Arrowhead-Weston transmission line project [exit DNR]. For each of the 9 total spreads, the Wisconsin DNR and PSCW must approve a Construction and Mitigation plan (CMP-B). The CMP-B is a key permit requirement of the wetland and waterway crossing permit approved by the Administrative Law Judge. No work may begin on any spread until the CMP-B is approved. Drafts of these documents will be available for public review on the project Web site [exit DNR] and at local libraries along the route. The final approved CMP-B for each spread will also be on the project Web site [exit DNR]. Construction is expected to proceed from south to north, though work will occur at multiple locations at any one time. Construction oversight will occur at several layers. CMP-B Approvals
