Endangered Resources Review - Utility ProjectsThe Office of Energy (OE) is responsible for endangered resources review for all utility projects that fall under its authority. These utility projects include:
Endangered Resources Reviews for utility projects not listed above (i.e. sewer and water treatment plants) are still reviewed by the Bureau of Endangered Resources (BER). The OE works closely with the BER to implement the Department’s Endangered Resources protection policies and regulations. The Endangered Resources Program works to conserve Wisconsin's biodiversity for present and future generations. Its goals are to identify, protect and manage native plants, animals and natural communities, from the very common to the critically endangered. We have made available a list of common questions that pertain to Endangered Resources Review.
