Safety Education Volunteer Instructor Corner
The Department of Natural Resources is looking for motivated people who have an interest in recreational safety and who are willing to donate a few hours of their time each year to teach safety education classes in your area. Becoming a volunteer instructor is a great way to help save lives, prevent injuries, meet people in your community, and positively influence the attitudes and actions of other resource users. The Department of Natural Resources trains and certifies volunteers to teach all of the following education courses: Once certified, the DNR will provide instructors with class materials and supplies. If you are willing to donate a few hours of your time each year and would like to find out more about becoming a part of the fast-growing team helping to make outdoor recreation safer, you may request information by e-mail or by contacting your Recreational Safety Warden.
