Taxidermy Permit

Requirements for the Taxidermy Permit are the completed application form, the fee and a Department of Revenue Seller's Permit. You need to have the Seller's Permit on the taxidermist application at the time you apply. If you do not have a tax number yet, please contact the Department of Revenue at (608) 266-2776 for information.

You are not required to have a taxidermy permit if you only do taxidermy work as a hobby. When you start receiving money or any type of consideration for your work, you must have the permit.
