Boat Registration Application

After completing all requested information on the Boat Application Form, make a photocopy, and mail the original application and appropriate fee to the address provided on the form. You must carry your photocopy of the application to operate your boat until you receive your new registration card and decals in the mail.

Boat Registrations Online (exit DNR) - The Department of Natural Resources is now offering registration services via the Internet. This site allows you to process transactions for a boat you currently own, including renewals, replacement certificate cards, decals and/or titles, or to register a recently purchased boat. This service is a quick and convenient way to register with a credit card (Visa® MasterCard®). Boat owners who use the online services can also print the validation receipt that will allow them to operate their boats while they wait for the new registration certificate and decals. This service is available 24hours a day, seven days a week.
