Stewardship - What A Portfolio!

The Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program was created to ensure that the things people love about Wisconsin - its natural beauty and promise of outdoor fun - will be here for future generations.

To date, Stewardship has funded many hundreds of DNR local government and nonprofit projects in 71 of Wisconsin's 72 counties. From the majestic solitude of the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage to the urban Lakeshore State Park in Milwaukee - north, south, east or west - Stewardship is protecting the landscape that says Wisconsin. And it is providing special places for residents and visitors alike to hike, bike, ski, hunt, fish, camp, canoe, learn, and simply relax with friends and family.

Take a brief look at a few of the highlights from the Stewardship portfolio. If you reside in Wisconsin, you accomplished all of these good things - and many, many more - through the Stewardship Program.
