January 21. Groundwater Workshop for Educators. Eau Claire. Educators from schools and nature centers that provide environmental programs for students (grades 6-12) are invited to apply for a free groundwater sand tank flow model along with training in the use of the model and materials to expand or improve their environmental education or science education program. Eight models will be given away at each of 3 workshops. To be eligible to receive a model, two teachers from a school or nature center must complete the application describing how they would use the model in their classrooms. Deadline: November 1, 2008.
