Recycling Grant Programs

• Waste Reduction and Recycling Demonstration Grant - The Waste Reduction and Recycling Demonstration Grant program has been offering financial assistance to Wisconsin organizations since 1991. Administered by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the grant program funds innovative waste reduction and recycling projects on a pilot or demonstration scale.
  
• Recycling Grants to Responsible Units Program - Responsible Units-defined as the local unit of government responsible for implementing its recycling program-are eligible for grant funding to operate effective recycling and yard waste management programs. In order to receive funding, the Responsible Unit must have an effective recycling program approved by DNR.
  
• Recycling Efficiency Incentive Grant Program - Financial assistance is available to Responsible Units that have demonstrated recycling program efficiency as defined in ch. NR 549, Wis. Admin. Code.
