Direct park programs such as law enforcement, maintenance, interpretive services, camper registration, admission sticker sales, wastewater and hazardous waste management, recycling, and employee and visitor safety. Natural Resources Property SupervisorsManage large park properties. Park ManagersSupervise a segment of a park, e.g. maintenance or visitor protection, or serve as the superintendent of a small or medium-sized park. Required Technical Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesPark operations including interpretive programs, visitor services and protection, law enforcement, and maintenance activities. Business administration to include accounting, case auditing, and management practices. Human resources management and supervision, work planning, and public relations techniques. Special RequirementsPossession of or eligibility to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license. Must meet Wisconsin's Law Enforcement Standards Board "recruit" requirements which include the following: at least 18 years of age; no unpardoned felony convictions; ability to meet certain medical and physical requirements including hearing and visual acuity standards.
