Review plans and specifications for portable water treatment facilities. Investigate existing groundwater pollution problems. Required Technical Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesPrinciples and practices of hydraulics and fluid mechanics; hydrology, including water sampling, groundwater level measurement and groundwater movement; well drilling equipment and procedures. Desired TrainingBachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or sanitary engineering (or some combination of the three) from an ABET-accredited program with relevant course work or experience in areas such as water supply or water treatment design, hydrogeology, sanitary engineering, hydraulics, fluid mechanics, or a verified equivalent.
