The Wisconsin DNR is proud to announce the availability of a new DVD entitled: "Trumpeter Swans...For Generations To Come" that recounts the history of the recovery effort from its early years to the present. The video includes spectacular footage from Alaskan egg collections to restoration efforts at Crex Meadows and all around the state. It features interviews with many of the people involved in the return of the birds to Wisconsin's landscape and highlights the public-private partnerships that made the program a nationally recognized conservation success story . |
